DARPA Robotics Finals

We were very proud to support Team Grit at the 2015 DARPA Robotics Challenge Finals June 5 and 6 in Pomona, Calif.

Team Grit – a self-funded, small but highly passionate and dedicated team of undergraduate students, professors and professional engineers – brought Cog-Burn the robot to the DRC Finals.

At the Finals, robots performed a course of highly difficult tasks with degraded communications between the robots and their operators. Tasks included driving unassisted, turning valves and climbing stairs.

Cog-Burn was one of 23 robots from the United States, Japan, Germany, Italy, Republic of Korea and Hong Kong to compete.
